Can I work on courses on my own timeline or do I have to meet in a cohort?

Course are available online to work best with your schedule. Faculty have “office hours” so you can discuss issues with them. The course platform also allows for posts or discussions with faculty or colleagues. Many students like to reach out to others in the same situation, we encourage you to do that but it is not required.

Can I do more than one course at a time?

Nothing prevents you from doing more than one course at a time, but it is not recommended.  You have a lot going both in this profession and  preparing for it, so we like you to pace yourself and avoid unnecessary stress.

Can I combine coaching and courses together?

That is a great idea if your plan is in place. You can be working on courses at the same time your work with your coach. This will help refine and develop your strategy and plan.  If you are not at that point yet, consider a free advising or consulting session to clarify your goal.

Do I complete everything or can I select what I want?

Med Ed Unlimited offers many courses, coaching and workshops for different levels of learners. You will not complete everything we offer. We can work together to select what aligns with your goal, and then you determine what activities you want to do.

Who chooses who I will work with in courses and coaching?

Courses are prepared online in advance by the faculty, so the topic is determined with the faculty based on expertise in the subject matter. Coaching and advising faculty is determined based upon your area of need and guidance. We try to match the learners to the faculty as the better the fit, the better the outcome.

What can I get for free?

We have sample courses available to try for free so you know what to expect and we encourage everyone to set up a free 20-minute advising or coaching session when you are getting started so we can meet each other and determine how we can best help you succeed. We also have faculty hours available, which you are welcome to join to get to know both the faculty and the students enrolled in courses.

How can I pay for courses or coaching?

We use Stripe for our payment plan which allows you to pay using credit cards, PayPal, or set up a payment plan which fits your budget. We do our best to avoid money being a barrier to learner success.
